2006 Land Rover LR3

We are early Land Rover specialists, with an emphasis on Discovery's, but we also like their dramatically more modern (and, lets face it, much more comfortable) successor: the LR3. This is a nice one in the right color combination, the right engine, and with the optional 3rd row seating (and 3, count 'em, 3 sunroofs) and tow package. We've given it a thorough reconditioning for safety and reliability including new rotors and pads all around, new wipers, interior leather reconditioning, and a new remote key. We also rebuilt the front differential to eliminate that too-common bearing whine from this generation LR. The air suspension was carefully inspected and has no problem at all, keep in the vehicle level at all times and responding quickly to changes in load or road conditions. The robust Ford-built 4.0l V6 delivers plenty of giddy-up (and a 7770 lb towing capacity!) while delivering fuel economy you can live with (up to 18MPG). In its second year on the market, the LR3 received a 4.5 (out of 5 stars) rating by consumers and Edmund's had this to say, " If you're looking for a midsize luxury SUV that can do it all, the 2006 Land Rover LR3 is about as good as it gets."
